Timeless, elegant and minimalistic: Mimie Reed Swim and Resort is a 50s-inspired swimwear and resort brand selling a glorious abundance of swimsuits, kaftans, straw hats and eyewear.
The brief was to define the brand’s identity across its website and social media, using luxurious visuals and copy that resonated with the ideal audience. We were entrusted with creating all the visual content and social media copy, as well as blog posts for the website.
Mimie wanted a glamorous, Hollywood-inspired yet modernised look for her brand. We made use of the brand’s colours in our photography, to keep its presence across digital channels consistent, and then merged a third colour (blue) to tie in the Mediterranean seaside in our backdrops. We added a light grain to some of the photographs, for a vintage vibe.
We took a clear look at the brand’s values – sustainability and inclusivity – and decided to communicate them using quotes shared onto the Instagram feed, which also helped break up the photographs and create a neat, visually appealing look.
