The Black Egg is an elegant restaurant in Malta, serving brunch all day long and dinner on weekends.
The founders approached us with the desire to build a social media presence. The establishment was brand new, and the founders wanted to get the word out.
We were tasked with creating all the content, and sharing a few weekly posts to the Instagram and Facebook pages. Growth across social media was not the main goal, but it was certainly a bonus that came with the organic management plan we implemented. Throughout the first 3 months, we grew the Instagram account by 1.5k followers, organically.
We brainstormed a few different concepts, and played around with a couple of styles of photography throughout the two years we worked together. While we started out with elegant, moody photographs that matched the interiors and original intention, the brand evolved into something that was more fun and focused on its delicious, hearty brunch dishes.
The founders prioritised showcasing their strong brand personality using a fun tone of voice that resonated with a younger audience, across humorous quotes designed onto minimalistic graphics and shared onto the Instagram grid.
We were also tasked with creating the website copy, and menu designs for Instagram Story and feed posts.
